What determines the price of oversized transport?
The cost is always calculated individually, as it depends on many factors: the exact dimensions and weight of the load, the length and complexity of the route, and the number and type of permits required. Contact us and we will prepare a detailed and transparent quote for you so that you know all the costs before starting the order.
How far in advance should you plan the transport of oversized loads?
The time required for organisation depends on the complexity of the order. Simple transport of oversized cargo within Poland takes just a few days. However, with complex international routes, the entire logistics process, including infrastructure analysis and obtaining permits for oversized transport, can take up to several weeks. Therefore, the sooner you contact us, the more efficiently we can organise the entire transport.
What insurance protects my cargo during oversized transport?
Every cargo we move is covered by a standard OCP policy. However, we understand that you often transport equipment of great value, which is why, for your complete peace of mind, we also offer the option of purchasing additional Cargo insurance, which protects your cargo against any fortuitous events up to its full value.
What is oversized transport?
In the transport industry, we refer to it when the transported cargo (or a combination of vehicles together with cargo) exceeds the standards specified in traffic regulations. This applies to dimensions or actual total weight that exceeds the permissible limits for vehicles travelling on public roads. Such transit requires the use of specialised vehicles from our fleet and obtaining the appropriate permits.
